1. Project Introduction
The PDSDS (Persian Dysarthria Speech Dataset) project is an engineering research project in the field of artificial intelligence and speech processing, designed to collect, analyze, and automatically recognize the speech of Persian-speaking dysarthria patients.
This project:
❌ Has no therapeutic or clinical nature
❌ Does not include medical diagnosis or therapeutic intervention
✅ Is an engineering and data-driven research in the field of ASR and NLP
2. Voluntary Participation
Participation in this project:
Is completely voluntary
Non-participation has no medical, therapeutic, or legal consequences
The participant can withdraw from cooperation at any time
3. Informed Consent
By participating in the project, the participant confirms that:
They are aware of the research goal
They know their speech data is being used for scientific and engineering research
They accept that data is stored and processed anonymously (Anonymized)
4. Privacy and Anonymization
To protect privacy:
No name, national ID, phone number, or identity information is stored
Audio files are kept without connection to individual identity
Data is only used in statistical and research formats
5. Type of Data Usage
Collected data may be used for:
Training and evaluating ASR models
Academic research and scientific articles
Developing reference speech datasets
🚫 Use of data for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making is not permitted.
6. Scientific Publication and Dataset
This project may lead to:
Publication of scientific articles (Q1 / International)
Presentation of the research dataset with a specified license
Publication of codes and models for research purposes
In all cases:
Data remains anonymous
No individual identity is published
