This document describes the privacy policy of the "Persian Dysarthria Speech Dataset (PDSDS)" research project. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of participants' information in this research.

In this research, the following information is collected from participants:

• Identity Information: Name, age, gender, contact number
• Medical Information: Type of speech disorder, duration of affliction, other comorbid diseases
• Speech Data: Recorded audio files of participants' speech

3. How Information is Used

The data collected in this research is used for the following purposes:

1. Training AI models for speech recognition of dysarthria patients
2. Scientific research in the field of speech processing and ASR
3. Publication of scientific articles (without disclosing individuals' identities)
4. Improving communication aid systems for patients

4. Confidentiality of Information

We are committed to adhering to the following principles in maintaining information confidentiality:

• All information is stored in encrypted form
• The identity of participants is not disclosed in articles and scientific publications
• Access to information is limited only to the core research team
• Information is not sold or transferred to third parties

5. Data Retention Period

The collected information is retained for the following periods:

• Identity information: 5 years after the end of the research
• Speech data: Permanently in the format of a scientific dataset
• Contact information: Until the end of the research activity

6. Participants' Rights

Participants in this research have the following rights:

• Right to withdraw from further participation at any stage
• Right to request the deletion of personal information
• Right to access their registered information
• Right to receive the general results of the research
